| Our proposed project aims to achieve load switching using a touch based switch. Here we use a555 timer IC in monostable mode that drives a delay used to switch the load On and Off for certain durations. The touch plate is connected to a 555 timer IC trigger pin. The 555 timer IC delivers a high output for a fixed duration of time as decided by its RC timing constant that is connected to the timer. This now drives the relay that in turn switches On the load for a particular duration of time and later switches it Off. The human touch delivers a voltage on the touch plate that triggers the timer thus switching on the load for certain time duration |
