There have been a lot of peizo based and generator motor based generators. The major disadvantage of these generators is that they only generate energy for a brief moment only when the peizo is pressed. There is no recurring energy generation unless a constant movement is applied externally.
Well we here propose a system that generates energy for quite longer duration using a spring assisted mechanism. The system makes use of 2 peizo generators in orders to generate small energy charges when pressed.
The system has 2 peizos mounted on opposite sides of a flexible metal strip. One peizo plate is mounted on the bottom surface while other one is mo8unted on top surface opposite it. The flexible rod is attached with 2 springs on either sides, one on top and other at the bottom. These springs are each connected to respective peizo sensors.
Finally we attach a suitable weight at the corner end of the flexible metal strip. When we apply force to push the strip and leave it the flexible strip oscillator up and down for quite some time due to spring mechanism. This alternately pushes each peizo plate for a short duration of time. This allows for recurring charge generation from peizo sensors for quote some time. Finally we hereby use a small electric circuitry with an electric led to indicated power generated by glowing the led.
