Keeping Track of weather is a very critical operation and needs high speed and coordination among weather trackers and reporting teams. A constant coordination is required between both teams to collect and constantly transmit weather data to reporting teams. This data is viewed by normal public to plan their day, ships and sea route planning, fishing department, disaster relief department and more.
Well here we simplify and automate the entire process where a system senses weather data and constantly transmits this data directly over the internet using IOT. The system makes use of an Arduino, raspberry pi, Temperature and Humidity Sensor, Rain Sensor and LCD Display to achieve the task.

The system makes use of Temperature and humidity sensor to sense environment temperature and humidity levels. A rain sensor is used to detect rain. Also we use an LCD display to display the data and system status. This system is powered by Arduino for sensor detection and Raspberry Pi for Data Transmission over the internet.
The Arduino controller monitors all the sensors to check their levels and transmit the data over to the ras pi controller. The Ras Pi controller receives data from the Arduino and transmits over wifi. The ras pi is connected to internet using inbuilt wifi module. The Pi sends data over to IOT Gecko platform IP for storing.
The IOTGecko server receives data and displays the values live over the server. The user may logon to the IOTGecko system over any web browser and check live weather values anytime and anywhere. Thus this system provides a live and error free system to transmit and view weather data using IOT.
