This project aims at giving the user an assurance of instantaneous alert in the form of SMS notification on users registered cell phone number for any form threat to the security of home of the user.
Threat to security can be in the form of trespassing, burglary or fire, etc. In this project we will be using IR Tx & Rx sensors to sense for any intruders.
Temperature sensor will be used to notify the user regarding fire like conditions. The user can set up a lock code on the door (depicted by a DC motor) which can be only opened when the user from his/her registered cell phone number will do so.
Henceforth, only the user can open the electronic lock on the door be sending the set code through SMS from the registered cell phone number.
If anyone else other than user tries to breach the security by trying to unlock the door with unauthenticated number and/or invalid passcode, trespass the premises being monitored or if fire sets up in the home an alert notification regarding the system will be instantly sent to the user on the registered cell phone number.
Then buzzer will also turn ON at the same time. This allows the house owner to react accordingly. GSM modem will be interfaced with the 8051 family microcontroller. In this way Home Security Using GSM project provides an efficient solution to security for home. It remotely gives the real time information of any unwanted event
occurring at home even to the home owner on his/her cell phone number.
