The main aim of this project is to provide a system that allows consumed electricity reading in units as well as the amount charged. Monthly Electricity Billing with Bill SMS also provides the electricity readings on a LCD screen as well as through sms to the user. The user is then well versed of how many units he has consumed and the related cost directly from his meter, which reduces the tampering of bill. The system accepts two way reading, one on LCD display and other on SMS.
Monthly Electricity Billing with Bill SMS is built in with a gsm modem connected to PIC microconnector. It also monitors electrical pulses and calculates the unit consumption. For the billing puropose the system then uses the cost of each unit to calculate the electricity cost. This data is then send to the user and tht electric company via SMS and even displayed on tht LCD screen. We even can modify the system for receiving user message to control units.
