This application is a simple mobile application which enables user to book Mumbai local train tickets using a mobile application. It consist of 3 modules, Registration, Ticket checker and Login.
The Login modules contains 5 internal functionality.
1. Check TIme table : Lets the user check time table of local trains between two stations.
2. Purchase Ticket : Enables User to purchase ticket.
3. Show Ticket : Shows user the information on the latest ticket purchased by the user.
4. Refill Account : Lets the user refill its account by using a 14 digit code.
5. Check Balance : Informs the user about his/her balance amount.
The Key features of the Project are:
- User friendly Interface.
- Separate modules for registration, booking ticket and checking ticket. Hence a only the necessary modules can be installed on a particular device.
- Recharge of account can be done by simple using a 14 digit refill id just like mobile recharge.
- Includes booking local train ticket for both lines, Western and central
- It is a client server application, hence same servlet can be used to serve request from multiple clients.
- Helps to save paper as tickets book are e-tickets. A step towards eco friendly environment
