Automobiles have been the primary mode of transportation for most of us and we depend on them for our day to day commute. Unfortunately, there are lots of mishaps that could occur while driving an automobile and brake failures are one such case. In this system, an experimental setup is created using the drum brake mechanism. When the vehicle is in motion and brake is applied in normal condition green colour LED blinks indicating that everything is fine and safe. This is done by transferring the signal voltage through the brake wire from one end to other. At the other end of the wheel, the signal conditioning unit identifies the signal voltage and blinks the respective LED. Brake failure occurs due to various reasons such as worn out brake pads, cut in the brake wire, etc., after long use and tear; brake wires might get worn out and get damaged at one point of time. During brake failure the electric contact will break between the lever and the drum brake link and the buzzer will beep.
