About IOT Irrigation Controller System Workshop
From home automation to agriculture, IOT is bringing more and more things into the digital field every day. In this workshop you will learn to build your own IOT Irrigation Monitoring and Control System. This is a very useful system, wherein you can monitor and control the supply water from a remote location. In this system Arduino Uno board is used to send the control signals and to connect to the desired website. Motor status and moisture level are both displayed in the website.
The circuit keeps checking the moisture content of the soil by means of a moisture sensor, and updates the “Moisture level” on the website. You can then check the current moisture level from a remote location and control the water supply. For this, you have to toggle the “Motor status” from ‘ON-OFF’ or ‘OFF-ON’; and the “water pump” will be ‘turned ON’ or ‘turned OFF’ accordingly. Thus the ‘soil-moisture’ gets monitored and the ‘water supply’ can be controlled just by the toggling the “Motor status”.
